Pro3D on the video wall

Today here at Harwell we’ve got the Pro3D software working and playing on the impressive 18-screened video wall!

This software allows us to look at and manipulate images in 3D. The picture shows example data from the Curiosity rover on Mars. We can also measure interesting geological features as if we were actually wandering around the red planet.

In the coming days the Utah team will send us some more Pancam emulator images back from the Utah rover, which we will then be able to import and analyse in Pro3D as if it was a real rover mission.
